PE Tube Production Processes

1. Tube Drawing (Extrusion)

Tubes are formed by melting raw material particles at high temperature, followed by extrusion through a mold and cooling. The daily output of one Tube drawing machine is 50,000 to 100,000 pieces, and the smaller the pipe diameter, the higher the production capacity. (Machine setup time for Tube drawing: 2-3 hours)

2. Offset Printing

Tube offset printing can print up to 6 colors and supports cap-aligned positioning printing. The offset printing and drying processes are completed in one integrated operation, featuring distinct colors without mixing, clear printing effect, natural gradient printing and screen effects, high registration accuracy, suitability for multi-color printing and large color block printing, strong adhesion, and excellent presentation of design concepts. The daily output of offset printing is about 50,000 to 70,000 pieces per machine (machine setup time: 3-4 hours).

3. Silk Screen Printing

Tube screen printing can print up to 6 spot colors and supports cap-aligned positioning printing. The ink has a strong three-dimensional effect and high coverage, enabling bright colors to be displayed even when printed on colored Tubes with minimal color difference. However, its dot fineness and adhesion are average, and 100% registration printing is not achievable. The daily output of Tube screen printing is about 50,000 to 70,000 pieces per machine (machine setup time: 3-4 hours).

4. Tube Hot Stamping

Hot stamping enhances the layering and metallic effect of the product surface, making it more high-end and premium. It supports gold stamping, silver stamping, and colored stamping (such as red and blue stamping), but the adhesion is slightly weak. (Hot stamping colors need to be pre-selected; some special colors may not be available and require customization.) The daily output of hot stamping is about 20,000 pieces per machine.

5. Hole Drilling, Film Laminating and Cap Locking

The “three-in-one machine” integrates hole drilling, film laminating and cap locking into a single unit, completing three Tube production processes with one machine. It features high production efficiency and speed, helping to reduce production costs. The daily output is about 50,000 pieces per machine.

6. Tube Sealing

We adopt straight-grain internal heating sealing, which melts the Tube at high temperature for sealing, ensuring an excellent sealing effect. The daily output is about 40,000 pieces per machine. (Current sealing shapes include: straight-grain sealing, diagonal-grain sealing, diamond-grain sealing, arc sealing, rounded straight-grain sealing, and special-shaped sealing. Sealing shapes can be customized according to customer requirements with mold opening.)
